The knives came in a beautiful box, well packaged so they didn't get dinged up or anything during shipping. They came in super sharp and polished, absolutely gorgeous. The magnets hold the knives securely onto the block, but is precarious if you need to move it, because the knives are super sharp and there are lots of places to potentially bump the blades. Anyway, we are very happy.
