We stand behind our products and are committed to your satisfaction through our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee and 70-Day Limited Warranty.

This policy applies to all knives purchased directly from www.jikkoknives.com or through our official Amazon store.

Purchases made from unauthorized resellers or second-hand platforms are not covered under this policy.

Section 1 – 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We want you to experience your JIKKO knife at home with complete confidence. If for any reason you’re not fully satisfied within 30 days of delivery, you may return your order for a full refund — no questions asked.

Eligibility

  • The knife must be unused or in like-new condition;
  • It must include the original packaging and accessories;
  • A valid proof of purchase or order confirmation is required;
  • Items marked as Final Sale or Limited Edition – No Return are not eligible.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method once the returned product is received and inspected by our warehouse team. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.

If your order arrived damaged or incomplete, please notify our customer service team within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the issue. We will promptly arrange a replacement or refund at no extra cost.

Section 2 – 70-Day Limited Warranty (Defects)

Your JIKKO knife is designed to perform exceptionally when properly used and maintained. If a manufacturing defect occurs within 70 days of delivery, we will repair or replace the product at no cost to you.

Covered under this warranty:

  • Structural or material defects caused during manufacturing;
  • Handle adhesion failure or material separation;
  • Irregular blade alignment or visible flaws in assembly.

Not covered under this warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear, including dullness from everyday use;
  • Damage resulting from drops, impacts, or improper storage;
  • Rust, staining, or oxidation due to prolonged exposure to moisture;
  • Dishwasher damage, or contact with acidic or corrosive materials;
  • Use of the knife on inappropriate surfaces (stone, glass, etc.);
  • Modifications, engravings, or sharpening done by third parties;
  • Any commercial, industrial, or non-domestic use.

Each knife must be used responsibly and exclusively for its intended purpose — as a culinary tool.

Section 3 – How to File a Claim

If you believe your knife is eligible for replacement or refund under this policy, please email us at support@jikkoknives.com with the following details:

  1. Your full name and order number;
  2. A clear description of the issue;
  3. Clear photos or videos showing the defect;
  4. Proof of purchase (invoice or confirmation email).

Our quality team reviews each request carefully and responds within 48 hours. If approved, you will receive detailed return instructions. Once the item is received, we will either:

  • Repair the product if feasible;
  • Send a replacement of equal or greater value;
  • Or issue a full refund if replacement is not possible.

All claims are handled with care and attention — we aim to make the process simple, transparent, and fair.

Section 4 – Warranty Validity

This limited warranty applies exclusively to products purchased through www.jikkoknives.com or through JIKKO’s official Amazon store. It covers the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

Items purchased from unauthorized resellers, marketplaces (eBay, AliExpress, Facebook Marketplace), or second-hand channels are excluded from warranty coverage. Proof of purchase is required to validate any warranty or return claim.

Section 5 – Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JIKKO’s liability is strictly limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective item.

Under no circumstances shall JIKKO, its partners, or affiliates be held liable for:

  • Accidental injury, property damage, or loss resulting from misuse;
  • Consequential, indirect, or incidental damages;
  • Costs associated with unauthorized repairs or sharpening.

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights, which may vary depending on your state or jurisdiction.

Section 6 – Care and Maintenance Recommendations

  • Hand-wash immediately after use with warm water and mild detergent;
  • Dry thoroughly before storage;
  • Avoid soaking or leaving in damp environments;
  • Use only on wooden or plastic cutting boards;
  • Regularly hone the blade with a sharpening steel to maintain edge performance.

Proper care ensures your knife retains its sharpness, balance, and visual appeal for years.
